Real Estate Closings
Whether it's a first home in Old Metairie, a beach house in Mandeville, or a portfolio acquisition in St. Tammany Parish, every real estate closing we handle gets the same treatment: careful examination, proactive communication, and a closing experience that feels like the milestone it is.
How a closing actually works here
Once we receive your purchase agreement (or refinance file), we kick off the title exam, order the survey if needed, and start coordinating with all parties — your realtor, your lender, the seller's side, the HOA, the surveyor, and any required third parties. We send weekly status updates and flag every issue at examination so it's resolved before closing day.
In office, on location, or remote
Closings happen however you need them to. Our offices in Metairie, Mandeville, and Slidell are equipped for in-person signings, but we'll come to you for mobile closings, or run a fully remote closing via Remote Online Notarization (RON) if eligibility and lender approval line up.
Residential, commercial, and investor work
We close single-family homes, condos, multi-family, raw land, commercial buildings, and investor portfolios. Investor-specific work — wholesale double closings, novations, creative financing structures, and tight-timeline assignments — is a core part of what we do.
Common questions.
- How long does a typical closing take?
- A standard residential purchase takes 30–45 days from purchase agreement to closing. Refinances are typically 21–30 days. Cash deals can close in as little as 10 days when title comes back clean. We'll give you a realistic timeline based on your specific file.
- What do I bring to closing?
- A government-issued photo ID, your wire confirmation if you sent funds in advance (or a cashier's check for amounts under our wire threshold), and any documents your lender specifically requested. Your closing coordinator will send a final list 48 hours before signing.
- Can my spouse sign for me?
- Only with a properly executed power of attorney that meets Louisiana requirements. We can prepare one for you in advance, or work with one your attorney has already drafted. Don't assume one from another state will work — Louisiana has its own rules.
